We will also embark on a two-hour long walking tour of the upper and lower cities of Quebec. You will hear about the history of this city, and see the Murals, The Dufferin Terrasse, the famous cannonball, La Petite Champlain, The St-Lawrence River, and of course, the World-Famous Chateau Frontenac where Roosevelt and Churchill met in 1941. Tea Time Language Exchange

Which language are you learning? Would you like some practice with a native speaker?

CLC Montreal has tea time Monday to Thursday to practice languages. It is free and in a comfortable and happy environment. Here is the information:

Monday: French

Tuesday: Japanese and Korean

Wednesday: Spanish and Arabic

Thursday: English

What time? : 4pm-6pm

Where? : CLC Montreal, 4260 Ave. Girouard, #350 (near Villa-Maria Metro Station)

What is it? : Free Language Practice with native speakers. Free tea and coffee are available.

Japanese Language Exchange Group

Are you an English or French speaker who is studying Japanese?

Are you a Japanese speaker who is studying English or French?

Come to the JEX Language Exchange Club every Thursday!

When? : Every Thursday night

What time?: 6pm-9pm

Where? : AMC Pepsi Forum. Third Floor, VIP room (Atwater Metro)

What is it? : A language exchange group. We will have 1 hour of Japanese, and 1 hour of English/French (depending on the student). We will help each other with homework, conversation, and grammar. You can ask questions about anything you want (within reason).

Who? : University students mostly from Concordia who are studying Japanese. International students from Japan who are in Canada to study English or French.

Why? : Because learning languages is fun, but difficult! Being able to speak with a native speaker is very important!

What to bring? : Bring your English/French books and notes from your class. Be prepared to ask questions that confuse you in English/French. Also, remember that we have to buy a coffee/drink in order to stay in the coffee shop.
